I have been spending a lot of time in Prayer and also a lot of time meditating on the many issues of the HEART.
The LORD very gently spoke to me a couple of days into my fast, to fast my negative words about my back injuries.
I have had increased pain for a week, trying to help put our house in order and organized for an inspection, and I found myself complaining constantly.
Then I would catch myself and begin to speak Scripture. Suddenly, in my Prayer Time, when I habitually asked The LORD to show me my heart, and I waited on Him in silence, His still small Voice broke through the silence.
The LORD said, “You have hidden the Truth of My Word in your heart, that speaks about Faith and ‘Only Believe’, along with The Blood, and your healing that was purchased at the Cross, and the truth that you must ask Me to show you your heart.
So, I AM hearing the words of your mouth, contradict The Truth of My Word. As you receive more understanding about the heart, it is now time to think before you speak, for your words of pain and confessions of ‘I can’t do that because’ are cancelling your Faith-filled confessions of Healing, and filling your heart with hopelessness, that is cancelling your Faith.
Remember, I watch over My Word to perform it,” says The Father.
“You are spending time guarding your heart before you Pray, but you must change what you say. You are allowing your feelings to override your Faith.
You are allowing your pain, to open the door to unbelief in this area of your life. So embrace The Truth with your whole heart, and allow Healing to override your emotions and pain as you speak My Word that promises, “I AM The LORD that healeth thee!”” (Exodus 15:26).
“Let your heart be filled with The Spirit of Repentance, and begin to tame your tongue to speak Truth and not perversion.
You much think twice before you speak. My Word declares in Exodus 23:25-26, I will take sickness away from thee.
The number of your days, I will fulfill, so begin to speak life to your body, speak Truth to your mind, and speak Faith to your emotions.
Speaking rashly, is like a piercing Sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. (Proverbs 12:18)
So I admonish you to use Wisdom and remember My Promises are life to all who find them and health to all their flesh,” says The Healer.
“In this day,” says The LORD, “I AM speaking to My Bride. There is great beauty in your words that flow from a pure heart.
The journey of your heart is drawing you over the threshold of a new door of many opportunities to be a messenger of LOVE that will bring order out of chaos.
You are being filled to overflowing with kindness to melt the hardest of hearts. Know that I AM send beauty for ashes, and creating a peaceful picture of how to enter into My Rest, for those who have been completely stressed,” says The Bridegroom.
I began to think about the Sword, and about when The LORD came into my room and put a Sword in my hand and The Word in Psalms 64:3 refers to the tongue as a ‘Sword’.
Our Sword has probably created more damage, bruised and wounded and truly killed more people than all the weapons in all the wars, if we could take a count.
Our words can be very piercing. Often the word refers to an arrow. Our words can cut. They can pierce like a sharp arrow and once an arrow is shot, we cannot retrieve it.
So it is with our words, once said, we cannot call them back or cancel the power of them.
As I pondered our accountability and responsibility to act on the word sown in our hearts by faith and to guard our hearts with diligence.
I continued to be convicted over our daily conversations. I was reminded, ‘the greater the role, the greater the responsibility and accountability.’
So I ask you today as I ask myself, who are you accountable to? As we stand before The LORD, it shall be the day of accountability.
I then stopped and began to think about the tongue and the damage being done by such a tiny member of our body, not just to my healing, but to the masses worldwide.
Think about how many words are being spoken today just over the telephones, television, media and printed words of the newspaper that are flowing out of the abundance of evil hearts.
The word says in Proverbs 6:2, our own words snare us. We are ensnared by vows and promises spoken, but not kept.
Beloved, I have been so convicted over my words regarding my back and bladder, that it is any wonder I have received as much healing as I have.
God’s Mercy is new every morning, and His abundant Grace is beyond our understanding. May we regard His word and honor it as we allow it to be sown deeply in our hearts.
The word in Matthew 12:34-35 says,
“How can you, being evil, express any good things? For the mouth speaks from that which fills the heart. The good man out of his good treasure bring forth what is good and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings forth what is evil.”
We are responsible for the words we speak!
Matthew 12:36-37 goes on to remind us about the day of judgment.
“And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”
“I will hasten my word to perform it.” Jeremiah 1:12 KJV
“God is no respecter of persons.” Acts 10:34 KJV
“Great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.” Matthew 12:15 KJV.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 KJV.
“And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 NASB
“My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” Psalm 89:34 KJV.
“If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.” John 14:14 KJV.
“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done.” John 15:7.
Beloved, oh what a day it will be when all the great and the small, all the orators of the world stand before The LORD.
Oh, that He might find men today whose hearts are burning with love and compassion and deep devotion. May He ignite our hearts again with the fire of His love that we may run with the message of salvation to those who are lost and dying in this world of decay and devastation.
May He find those whose hearts and speech are burning with His love and total adoration of the King of Kings.
May He find us totally filled with The Fear of The LORD and filled with hatred for sin. Won’t you pray with me today,
‘LORD, teach us to think twice before we speak and hold our tongues.
Teach us to set a watch over the door of our lips that, when we speak, our words will be seasoned with grace and filled with love.
LORD, may we always guard our hearts with all diligence and inquire of you to show us our hearts that we might have clean hands and a pure heart.
May our words edify, always building up and never tearing down, may we be encouragers who uplift and speak words of healing and restoration, in Jesus’ Name.
“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalm 19:14 KJV.
