For quite some time I have been meditating on KINDNESS, the need for it, the lack of it, and how important it is to me.
I keep telling The LORD how deeply important this is to me and yet I feel I am not doing enough. I then heard in my heart some words The LORD spoke to me quite some time ago that I have in a frame.
ATTRACT WHAT YOU EXPECT
REFLECT WHAT YOU DESIRE
BECOME WHAT YOU EXPECT
AND
MIRROR WHAT YOU ADMIRE.
I have come to understand that in my lifetime, I have admired a few people and looking back, I realize each one of them had the quality of KINDNESS that always stood out to me.
Then there were others whom I thought of that never showed kindness in any way. I am sure that kindness means different things to different people — but one thing I love, is being able to do something from my heart without expecting anything in return…. just showing someone how deeply I care… sometimes it means ‘going the extra mile’.
I have been so blessed to have more than one close friend that when I hear there name, I think of their kindness and kind hearts.
There are many people who are nice, but there can sometimes be a lack of sincerity in their niceness i.e. they do it because it is expected and they are going through the motions (sometimes with wrong motives).
Let’s look at ATTRACTING what you EXPECT.
Kindness is like a chain reaction. It can be like a ripple affect. When someone is kind to me, I immediately have a warm heart toward them, but I also want to pass it on.
The LORD said to me recently, “If My People would focus on practicing Love through kindness one day at a time, it would spread like an epidemic and begin to change the world.
Write it on your heart today,” says The LORD God, “that the acts of kindness and Love that are done intentionally, carry the power of My Goodness and Mercv, and become a platform for changed hearts.
This is an ideal time to pay it forward, and start a movement of My Love to those you meet and greet.
The world is starving for Love and Kindness,” says The One Who is Love.
Yes, you can be the change you desire to see, by REFLECTING what you desire. So, let Kindness be your signature — and let His RECKLESS LOVE be mirrored in your heart.
“When you engage people with friendliness and compassion, you are living out the truth that Love is Kind and your unexpected goodness will be remembered as a pleasant surprise that lives on in the hearts of those who feel unloved, unneeded and unnecessary,” says The Father.
“Your kindness is a reflection of My Grace, and a statement to yourself that you are becoming what you expect.
Kindness is a mirror of selflessness and a picture, not only of what you admire, but a reflection of My Heart,” says The LORD.”
“So, as My Compassion works in your heart, allow it to flow freely like rivers of cleansing water to bring fresh hope and deep healing to those who have suffered deep rejection and unforgiveness in long and short term relationships.
I AM reaching out to My Church in this great time of change,” says The LORD, “to be the message, live what they preach, and be a shining beacon of unconditional love to those who have been wounded by religion.
I AM opening unexpected doors that will change bitter hearts into kind hearts that have tasted the goodness and sweet savor of My Heart in this hour, when evil and hatred have ruled the masses.
I AM opening many new opportunities to My People to gather with great grace, engage with sincere kindness, and to relate with merciful hearts.
This is a golden opportunity time frame to be My Arms open wide to embrace the lost, feed the hungry and be a true reflection of my reckless love that never fails.”
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”
Leo Buscaglia.
“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear, and the blind can see.”
Mark Twain
“My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with acts of kindness. Continue to allow humor to lighten the burden of your tender heart.”
Maya Angelou.
